The image of a cross links a woman to a superior being (Goddess). We can also see Giger's portrayal of a woman as a powerful leader by the hand gesture on top of her head(again, image of superiority).

Lady Lisa did in fact go above and beyond the call of duty lifting her skirt dramatically while standing on the edge of the Eiffel Tower. I am loving her body language! She looks like a playful kid (without a care in the world, fearless and free)... what a juxtaposition to the rough and rustic background of the Eiffel Tower and the gloomy sky over Paris expressing the rough time between the two World Wars.
